Pi Beta Phi sister Gerry D. continued her annual tradition of participating in the Straub Women's 10k event this Sunday. She was recently featured in the Star Advertiser, with ten other women, for their ongoing dedication to the event since it was first held in 1978.
Gerry has collected over 33 race shirts, one from each year, which she quilts together to create a blanket. Gerry also includes her finishing times on each corner of the quilt squares.

A Visit to Shangri La
In celebration of Women's History Month, the Honolulu Alumnae Group visited Doris Duke's Shangri La. Shangri La is one of Hawaii's most architecturally significant houses inspired by Duke's travels through the Middle East and India on her honeymoon.
After the tour, we were joined by a few more for lunch at the Honolulu Academy of Arts cafe.
